Meet Dr. Buono

For more than 35 years, Dr. Buono has been dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Known for his gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to modern dentistry, he has built a reputation for providing high-quality dental care that patients can trust.

Patients appreciate the time he takes to listen to their concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their care. Many individuals and families have relied on Dr. Buono for their dental care for generations, a reflection of the relationships he and his team have developed within the community.

Dr. Buono graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1988. He began his career practicing in Manhattan and Suffolk County Long Island. In 1991, he opened his own practice in Glen Cove, Nassau County, where he has proudly served the community ever since.

Throughout his career, Dr. Buono has remained deeply committed to continuing education and advanced training. He has studied at the prestigious Dawson Academy in Tampa and the Esthetic Advantage program in New York City.

He has also participated in advanced programs with CDocs in Arizona and DS World in Las Vegas, among others. This ongoing training allows him to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry and bring the latest techniques and technologies to his patients.

Dr. Buono is an active member of the Long Island Dental Study Club, the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). His commitment to learning and professional collaboration helps ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care.

Dr. Buono’s philosophy is simple: treat every patient the way he would want to be treated—with honesty, compassion, and attention to detail. This approach has helped him and his dedicated team build long-lasting relationships with patients and families who have trusted the practice with their dental care for many years.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Buono enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, his partner of 34 years, their two sons, and their growing families.
